Perodic Inspection Reports (PIR's) are electrical inspections carried out by fully qualified approved electricians to evaluate the integrity of the design and condition of an existing installation. These inspections consist of a visual inspection followed by significant testing of each circuit to assertain if the circuit has been installed safely, and offers adequate protection to the consumer in the event of a fault. Many older installations arent designed to carry the power demanded from electrical equpiment of the modern home. Also many installations have been subjected to alterations and additions from unskilled proffesionals. Faulty or dangerously fitted electrical circuits can cause electric shock and even fire.
All domestic dwellings are recommended to be tested at intervals of no longer than ten years, or on change of occupancy. So if you are moving into a new home it would be very wise to have the existing electrical installation inspected for faults and adequacy of protection.
We are currently offering discounted rates on FULL periodic inspection reports that will be certificated and advice given to the consumer. These are not to be confused with a simple visual inspection that some contractors offer that will not be as conclusive as a proffesional Periodic Inspection Report.
We will even refund the cost of the PIR* in the event that an installation requires re-wiring and you choose to use Daylight Electrical Solutions Limited as your electrical contractor.
